MerchantDriver Beta Programme · SND Trading Group Ltd · 2026
1. The Beta Programme
By applying to join the MerchantDriver beta programme, you agree to the following terms. These terms govern your participation in the beta and your use of the MerchantDriver platform during the beta period.
2. Beta Access is Free
Participation in the MerchantDriver beta is completely free of charge. No subscription fee will be charged during the beta period. You will be notified in advance before any subscription pricing takes effect.
3. Subscription at Full Launch
When MerchantDriver launches fully, a monthly subscription fee will apply to access the platform and available jobs. The subscription pricing will be communicated to all beta participants in advance of launch. Beta participation does not lock in any pricing beyond what is communicated at the time.
4. Beta Access
MerchantDriver reserves the right to withdraw beta access at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:
Failure to maintain valid driving licence or insurance
Breach of these terms or the driver subcontractor agreement
Misconduct, fraud, or behaviour damaging to MerchantDriver or its clients
Operational reasons at MerchantDriver's discretion
5. Driver Requirements
To participate in the MerchantDriver beta and carry out deliveries, you must at all times:
Hold a valid UK driving licence appropriate for your vehicle
Hold valid Hire and Reward motor insurance
Hold valid Goods in Transit insurance (minimum £5,000 per incident)
Hold valid Public Liability insurance (minimum £500,000)
Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
Operate a roadworthy, legally compliant vehicle
6. Self Employed Status
Participation in MerchantDriver does not create an employment relationship. You operate as a self-employed independent contractor. MerchantDriver is not your employer and you are not entitled to employment rights, holiday pay, sick pay, or other employee benefits.
7. No Guarantee of Work
MerchantDriver does not guarantee any minimum volume of jobs or earnings. Jobs are offered on a race-to-accept basis and availability depends on order volumes and your operating area. You are under no obligation to accept any job offered.
8. Earnings and Pay
During the beta period, you will receive the full job price for each completed delivery, minus any applicable deductions for late delivery or cancellation as set out in the driver agreement. Pay will be processed automatically on completion of each job.
9. Data and Privacy
By applying, you consent to MerchantDriver collecting and storing your personal information, including name, contact details, vehicle information, and documentation, for the purposes of operating the platform and managing your driver account. Your data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to operate the platform.
10. Feedback
As a beta participant, you may be asked to provide feedback on the platform. Any feedback you provide may be used by MerchantDriver to improve the platform without any obligation or compensation to you.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
